Yo yo. Got lots of stories I'm working on, but I can take questions for the next half hour.
Wrapping up my nuts-and-bolts profile on new Clemson president James Clements, who was approved today to succeed James Barker. Clements, the now-outgoing WVU prez, will take over in January.
Also will have a report from Clemson defenders on defending the triple option ... which they will do the next two weeks, against Georgia Tech and The Citadel in the Valley.
Then for Wednesday's paper: I spoke with Dan Radakovich and Van Hildebrand on handling a Thursday night home game, and the intricate challenges that presents for Clemson's campus.
PLUS: I talked to two Clemson players about bullying in the locker room. Very interesting what they had to say, in relation to the Dolphins saga to end all sagas.
So ... looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue, you might say.
Thanks Keith. Clements turns 50 next March, and he's got a family of six. Enjoyed talked to his son, who's a junior at West Virginia. Very smart kid. He and I were actually at the same 2011 opener when a WVU-Marshall game was suspended by lightning.
Dabo and Brownell were at the announcement. Yes, put Dabo and Clements in a room together and there'll be plenty of personality to go around.
My lead is all about how obvious it is that Clements cares about family.
