I'm here. USC leads Vandy 28-10 at halftime. I'm ready for any and all questions.
South Carolina clearly clicking on all cylinders in the first half. Connor Shaw, Mike Davis, USC defensive line ... everything looked good.
Ryan, what's the biggest thing the Gamecocks need to think about heading into the second half?
And do you buy what HBC told the ESPN crew about not getting grass stains on his visor? :)
I'm sure the Head Ball Coach will remind players it's a 60-minute game, as he should. Defense looked sloppy on that last series, leading to Vandy field goal. Commodores are good enough to creep back into the game if USC doesn't keep door slammed shut.
No idea what he said to sideline reporter. We media types don't get the volume on these press box TVs.
They asked him is he got grass stains when he chucked his visor on the field. He said "I don't do that anymore." Liar!
So Gene's been tweeting updates from the Penn/UCF game. Any key takeaways for Gamecock fans?
Try to keep Vanderbilt out of the game without showing too much for two weeks from now. UCF is a good team. They're showing that in Happy Valley.
Should be an interesting second half. With a bye week looming, USC could easily get complacent. Can't allow that to happen. I'm logging off now. Enjoy these final 30 minutes, Gamecocks fans.
